2006 Citroen C6

The C6 is the last executive hydropneumatic Citroen and appeared exactly 50 years after the launch of the legendary DS. The timing was not just a coincidence, as the C6 was conceived for exquisiteness, quietness, comfort and safety thus it aspired to be a modernized version of the DS. This objective was perfectly attained as the car used the ultimate version of electronically controlled suspension (Hydractive-3) with unequaled riding qualities independently of the road surface. Thanks to electronic sensors, the C6 not only varies its suspension firmness but also its dumping, and imitates the DS’ ultra-smooth driving sensation with the help of a fourth suspension sphere in the rear axle. According to AUTOCAR: “C6’s overall ride is among the most isolated of any car one can buy”. Just like the DS, the C6's cabin is tremendously roomy, and the rear seats have even separate electrically reclining backrests! The central armrest has a switch that empowers the… French president to slide the front passenger’s (or bodyguard’s) seat forward if he needed extra rear legroom. The C6 has been produced in only 23,000 units from 2006 to 2012, and the specific car is held in mint condition including all options: lounge pack, sunroof, all around laminated glasses, head up display and 8-speaker JBL sound system. The combination of exterior ‘blue admiral' colour with beige leather interior is by many considered as the one that best highlights the car's amazing design.
