Britain’s biggest classic car collection
THE biggest collection of classic cars in Britain has been revealed worth an estimated £40million.
Car enthusiast Rodger Dudding has amassed the incredible store of cars since his first purchase of a Jensen Interceptor FF in the 1960s.
The business magnate now has more than 350 vehicles to his name and is planning on adding to the fleet thanks to a newly-finished £7m garage extension in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.
The 79-year-old’s love of cars started with his his dad’s 1952 Morris Minor and it takes pride of place in his collection.
The classic car list also includes Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Jaguars plus pre-war convertibles and a collection of motorbikes – including the only bike badged as a Bentley.
The entire collection is one of the most important car collections in Europe due to the varied nature with the oldest car listed as a 1911 Vulcan tourer.
Rodger said: “If people ask me my most valuable car then I would have to say my late father’s 1952 Morris Minor. It is totally and absolutely an original.
