I inherited this vehicle from my father This replica was made in the same manner that the original 1935 M-B 500K Roadsters were made. A custom chassis was fabricated and a hardwood substructure was made to support the bodywork. The original 1935 car had steel bodywork; this vehicle has aluminum bodywork. The engine, steering, suspension and brakes are from a 1969 Mercedes 230S. There are country roads not far from my house where I enjoy rides in the summer.
