2001 Subaru Impreza WRX "bug-eye" sedan in blue mica, restored and kept as a driver's car. I bought it from the original-owner era — it was taken to Germany at one point, and I brought it back before it was registered there. I did the restoration myself, so I know what's been refreshed and how it was put back together. What's special is the restoration work and that boxer-engine sound you expect from a Subaru. The car drives like a properly sorted WRX: responsive, planted, and still with that raw character. It's a sports car that handles daily roads or a spirited canyon run without fuss. Favorite memory is a run through Cuenca Beteta — great roads and even better company.
