1967 Fiat 600 D Fanalona 3ª serie, sedan in its original medium blue with period black license plates from province PR. The car was originally bought by a small rental company in the 1960s — back then couples hired cars like this even for their honeymoon — and has been restored several times, most recently in 2025. I only use it for special events and historic car meets. What makes it stand out is that quintessential rounded Fiat shape and the quality of the restoration. The paint is the original shade of blue and photographs really well — strong color contrasts or even aged black-and-white shots look striking. It keeps lots of period details intact, which is why people stop to look. My favorite drives are away from the motorways: among the vineyards of Piemonte, along the shores of Lake Garda, or through the castles and villages of the Piacenza countryside. It feels happiest in rural, scenic settings where it can be part of the picture rather than just moving through traffic.
