1978 Saab 900 Turbo

1978 Saab 900 Turbo coupe, original red interior — a first-year 900 with the turbo that started the model's reputation. I bought it from a local Saab club; it had been stored there from 2009 until I brought it home in 2025, and I’ve been getting it back into regular use since. It’s very original: the red seats, dash layout and trim are all honest and show the car’s history rather than a full restoration. The turbo is lively for a car of this vintage but manageable; it’s the sort of classic that rewards thoughtful driving rather than flat-out speed. Mechanically it’s sound for touring, and it draws a lot of friendly attention — Saabs still turn heads, especially this one. Favorite trip was my first long run from Oslo to Trondheim — plenty of highway, a few mountain passes, and the car felt resolute the whole way. Great for weekend drives, club events, or a retro-tinged photo shoot.
