1979 Toyota Fj40

Listed as the mighty Toyota Landcruiser Fj40 with a reputation second to none ! Chitty Chitty is 47 years young. Starts with a cloud of unburnt diesel when cold but once warmed up she doesnt miss a beat and re -starts without any fuss ( no clouds ) .The correct model for this FJ40 is actually BJ42 as its the diesel version of the FJ petrol version ( same thing but different motor) but thought id list the model that people are more likely to recognise/search for . The vehicle is quite rare in NZ as it was a Japanese import and is the better spec'd JDM ( or Japanese Domestic model ) . you need experience to take this on the road as at full speed ( 80k's ) it requires focus to keep it straight .
