1984 Holden Statesman Deville in original (refinished) silver metallic with tan cloth-and-vinyl interior. This was my grandfather’s car — it sat in storage for about 20 years until I brought this australian v8 back to life and returned it to the family garage. It’s a proper classic v8 cruiser with the kind of presence only a full-size Australian sedan has. Mechanically it's been gone through during the restoration: engine and transmission are solid for cruising around town, brakes and suspension refreshed, and the electrical quirks you’d expect from an older Holden sorted. The interior is the original layout with some sympathetic repairs; it still feels like the same car I used to sit in as a kid and pretend I was driving.
