Zelda (That is what we call her) has a truly remarkable heritage: before becoming a cherished part of our family, she faithfully served our country for many years as part of the national security fleet. When her public duty came to an end, we had the privilege of welcoming her into our home, beginning a whole new chapter of cherished memories and adventures. Zelda is far more than just a car—she is genuinely a member of our family. Over the past 30 years, she has witnessed our greatest milestones, serving as the lead car in our family weddings, christenings, and anniversaries. From epic road trips and summer camping trips to the simple rhythms of daily life, she has been there for all of it. Now that she has completed her daily duties, reserving her strictly for life’s most meaningful moments makes every journey in her feel truly special. Zelda has lived two wonderful lives with us. On one hand, there are the unforgettable memories of open-road adventures—packing her to the brim for long road trips and camping under the stars, where she never missed a beat. On the other, my absolute favourite moments are seeing her decorated with ribbons, leading our family’s wedding processions over the decades. Seeing the joy in people’s faces as they step into a car with so much history, ready to start a new chapter in life, is something truly priceless.
