1978 Citroen CX 2500D Pallas

1978 Citroën CX 2500D Pallas sedan, originally purchased in Portugal and with its original portuguese license plate. I have the car because of how it feels to drive — the CX’s comfort, steering precision and brake accuracy are what set it apart. This one is the Pallas trim, rides on the proper suspension, and has the MA (series I) diesel’s distinctive chain-and-belt-free valvetrain (yes, it’s basically a little tractor under the hood). It’s roomy and the interior remains remarkably comfortable for its age. The car did a memorable trip from the Alentejo up to Viana do Castelo and back — long, relaxed miles where the CX just ate the distance. It turns heads, nemely because its a bit flashy; people appreciate the lines and hidropneumatic suspention. It’s a classic sedan well suited for photo shoots, period films or other situations where a comfortable unusual car is required.
