Lea Francis concentrated on engineering excellence rather than other aspects of their cars. They were successful in motor sport, winning many long distance road events. Only about 400 Lea Francis cars remain on the roads of the UK, the company closed down in 1962. My Lea Francis 14 hp light saloon is very original, only modern winking indicators have been added to ensure safety. The car is available for filming type work in the north of England. The car seats four passengers in addition to the driver. It is very photogenic, and inspires comments and waves whenever and wherever I drive it.
