1953 Jowett Jupiter
This rare prize winning Jupiter has been owned since 1982. Fully restored with cream leather interior and burr walnut dash she captures the optimism of post war Britain. Only 900 of these aluminium bodied cars were produced from 1950 to 1954. They challenged the elite of British sports cars winning their class at Le Mans 3 years in succession. A Jupiter won the American Watkins Glen trophy outright. Jowett produced cars from 1911 until their demise in 1954. The Jupiter was the only sports car they made. Why not hire this classic car for your filming, photo shoot, or special occasion in the North West of England. I rescued the car from a Cheshire farm outbuilding in 1981. The chickens were using it as a place to nest and lay their eggs. Can extend hire and day length by special request.
