Provenance & History
Originally owned by Mrs Elsie Kilvert, a noted Paris socialite and patron of the arts whose home was at 64, Avenue Foch, Paris, which is now the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq. The car was ordered by her from Rolls-Royce and despatched to Hooper and Co, the 150 year established London coachbuilder where the body, interior and fittings were made, trimmed and installed to her exact requirements. Once completed it was delivered to her in Paris. The car returned briefly to Britain in 1985 where it was rebuilt by Hooper, before returning to France. After living nearly all its life in France, it is now in Britain and represents the best of the 'best cars in the world'.
