1968 Mercedes-Benz 280SL

1968 Mercedes-Benz 280SL roadster in a rare period-correct exterior colour Tobacco Brown — one of roughly 4% of the cars made in this shade. I imported it from Canada and it’s been a reliable top down on a sunny-day, country-road car for me ever since. It’s a vintage 280SL so expect the things that come with that: feel of the original steering, mechanical throttle response, and the kind of character only an older Mercedes can deliver. The body and trim are tidy, the interior is kept sympathetic to the era, and it’s light and easy to drive with the top down or with the soft or hard top. I’ve taken it on longer runs — my favourite was a four-day drive through France with friends who also own Mercedes classics — and it’s very comfortable and has endless power for that sort of trip when treated with care. This is a roadster meant for relaxed drives, weekend tours, photo shoots, and classic car events. I’m happy to discuss handoff details, permitted mileage, and any special requests.
