A much-loved Triumph Stag convertible that has been part of our family for nearly 30 years. I originally went to look at a Jaguar XJS convertible, but the Stag was parked next to it and immediately caught my attention. It’s a 1973 model, finished in ‘Signal Red’ with a cream interior and red piping. It was originally Carmine Red with a Chestnut Brown interior, but had already been modified before I bought it. It’s a proper classic and a real touring car. The V8 has a lovely, musical note to it – you hear it as much as you feel it – and the car cruises beautifully on the open road. We’ve used it for family summers, dog-friendly trips, classic car shows and holidays around Europe. It still draws attention wherever it goes and retains plenty of original character inside and out. That touring spirit has given us some great memories over the years, including driving it twice over the famous Millau Viaduct in France. The Stag was made for that kind of driving. Whether it’s for a wedding, prom, special occasion, photoshoot or as a static display at an event, we hope the Stag will add something memorable to the occasion and give you the opportunity to experience a little piece of British motoring history.
