1976 Ford Metrocab

Rare Metrocab London Taxi. The old girl first hit the road in 1976, it seems, yet can just about keep up with modern traffic (If people are kind enough to make allowances!). Nothing added, except a front passenger seat, this green dinosaur can even run on vegetable oil - as Mr Diesel himself intended! Green by colour, green by nature, she's a throwback to '70s, '80s, '90s city life. Hey.... if she was good enough for the late HRH Prince Philip, maybe she's good enough for us, eh? She's no "Show Queen", though. She's a road legal, driving restoration with quirks and character. Everyone smiles at her, whether they like her or not - like Marmite, really.
