1977 Leyland Princess 2200HL

A very underrated classic car, the Leyland Princess offers a very comfortable ride with excellent handling thanks to its advanced Hydragas suspension, plus loads of legroom in the rear (to accommodate the largest of wedding gowns). Our superb sandglow yellow Princess has the larger 2227cc straight 6 cylinder engine with a 4 speed manual gearbox, and as such, is the last remaining one of this specification registered in the UK. The car attracts a lot of admiring attention wherever it goes, since almost everyone has fond memories of when their parents, grandparents or uncles used to own a Princess back in the day. This is the exact car that was featured in a 5 page long “Buying Guide” to the Princess and Ambassador in the July 2018 Practical Classics magazine (and the indoor studio shots shown here were taken for that article).
