1980 Austin Maxi 1750 Auto

A very underrated classic car, the Austin Maxi was the first British 5 door 5 seater (and in manual form, 5 speed) car. Thanks to its advanced Hydragas suspension, it offers a very comfortable ride with excellent handling, plus loads of legroom in the rear (to accommodate the largest of wedding gowns). Our superb vermillion red Maxi has the larger 1748cc engine with an automatic gearbox, and as such, is one of only two remaining examples with this specification registered in the UK. The car attracts a lot of admiring attention wherever it goes, since almost everyone has fond memories of when their parents, grandparents or uncles used to own a Maxi back in the day.
