1989 Jaguar XJS 5.3L V12 HE

1989 Jaguar XJS V12 convertible — 5.3L High-Efficiency V12, restored and ready to drive. I found this one stripped to pieces in a driveway, half-hidden in a bush, and spent the last year bringing it back to life after it had sat for about 15 years. It’s a proper restoration. The car drives like a sorted sports car: the V12 pulls smoothly, the gearbox is good, and the suspension feels solid for its age. There are plenty of Jaguar details that came back with the car during the rebuild; I keep it as original as practical while replacing wear items for reliability. It’s the kind of car that does well at shows — that’s my favorite thing, taking it to local car shows and seeing people gather around.
