1991 BMW E30 320 convertible in period-correct trim — a proper, unmodified car in lovely condition. Paint original colour BMW metallic Diamond Black. Always draws compliments when out and about. I bought it from an E30 enthusiast in Essex and kept it largely as found: original fittings, original feel. Under the bonnet is the smooth M20 straight-six that makes these cars so enjoyable to drive — not about outright power, but effortless, linear pull and that familiar BMW balance. The roof drops neatly and the cabin is simple and honest; no dash cracks and finished in cream leather interior. This car is a modern classic that's meant to be driven, not exhibited. I owned an E30 back in '91, so there's a bit of nostalgia every time I turn the key.
