2000 Honda S2000 roadster in Silverstone with red leather seats and a proper high-revving VTEC — a driver's car that I brought back from the brink. I found her in 2019 in pretty rough shape: torn roof, corroded sills, and an engine with a bad knock that the seller shrugged off. I drove her to Portugal that winter, crossing the high Pyrenees in snow and ice — by the time I arrived the engine had given up. She came back to the UK after a full engine rebuild and some sensible bodywork. I now use her mainly in good weather and take her to track days at Castle Combe. The drivetrain is tight, the gearbox is crisp, and she still loves to be revved. This is a practical, honest S2000 — not a concours showpiece, but a lively, well-sorted roadster that rewards you for driving.
