2006 Bentley Continental GT

2006 Bentley Continental GT coupe finished in its original color (now much improved after our restoration) and returned to the road as a comfortable, well-sorted classic. We bought this as a Flying Spur restoration project and spent years bringing it back—mechanical refreshes, interior attention, and careful detailing to preserve the Bentley craftsmanship. It’s a patient, thoughtful car to drive: smooth, heavy, and composed with that V8 (and the kind of build quality that rewards relaxed motoring). The interior feels like a proper Bentley again — leather and wood that have been cared for, not over-restored, and the result is something you can enjoy without worrying it’s museum-only. What makes it special to us is the work and memories behind it. Restoring this car was our family project; it taught us a lot about problem-solving and brought the satisfaction of seeing the pieces come together. Our favorite moment so far was showing it at the Grimsthorpe Classic Car show last summer — it still draws a crowd and starts conversations.
