2008 Aston Martin Vantage Roadster — a roadster I found after a three-year search, finally turning up just 30 miles from home. I was picky about options and condition, so it took time, but bringing it back felt worth the wait. It's the one I kept because of the looks: proportions, the grille, the way the top folds down. Not the absolute fastest or most expensive Aston, but to my eye one of the best-looking cars made. Mechanically it's sorted for regular drives; it's been serviced and driven carefully since I bought it. The soft top operates smoothly and the cabin still feels crisp and purposeful without being fussy. My favorite memory is the day I collected it and drove it home — the whole three years of hunting suddenly made sense on that stretch of road.
