Chauffeur drive option also available for weddings and funerals. What says "British Sports Car" better than an MGB. They were in production from 1962 until 1980 and are about the most popular of classic cars. Introduced as a 2 seat convertible, the hard top GT, styled by Pininfarina, was added in 1965. Our 1974 MGB GT is one of the last chrome bumper models to be built. It has Teal Blue bodywork and a dark red seats. The car benefits from a full length Webasto Sunroof to give a snug and dry cockpit if the weather is poor and open air motoring if the sun is shining.
Provenance & History
The car has been in my ownership since 2016, has been a joy to drive. and has taken me all over the country, as well as being now a cornerstone of my self drive hire fleet. By the end of 2025 it was in need of a refresh so went into the bodyshop. As is often the way with classic cars there was a certain amount of mission creep, as improving one aspect of the car began to show up others. What started as jollying up the wings turned into a full respray, along with the fitting of new bumpers and overriders. New red carpets were installed, to complement replacement seats in deep red leather. To make the cockpit a special place to be a burr walnut veneer dash has been added, along with a wood rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel.
