Simple proceedure of the renter providing proof of their own insurance cover, and providing a valid driving licence and ID with address. I photogrpah the documents and show you the vehicle then off you go. Always happy to take any prospective renter on a short drive too if that helps. The solar panels provide many days of off grid power - dependent on the sunshining of course!

Bought straight from the military where the WOLF was a radio operator’s truck — built for places where maps end and grit begins. I sought a profession conversion to turn the rugged adventurerl into a cosy camper for two. Every bolt tightened and every timbered shelf honored that original purpose: strength married to simple, useful beauty. Now she’s a 1997 Land Rover Wolf Defender 110 with a soft heart. The diesel thrum feels like a heartbeat beneath your feet, and the cabin smells faintly of oil, cedar and campfire. At night, the little skylight frames the stars; by day, the compass on the dashboard still points to adventure. We’ve driven her over rutted tracks, along coastal lanes and down quiet country roads where time slows. When you climb in, you don’t just drive — you step into a story. I love sharing her because she’s the sort of car that makes strangers smile, turns plans into excursions, and reminds you that the best journeys are the ones that refuse to be ordinary. — Sol
