Fifteen years ago I took this Capri apart on a kitchen table, piece by piece, and rebuilt it not because I had to, but because I couldn’t stand the idea of losing its character. Every bolt I turned, every panel I painted, I could feel the car becoming mine. I’m Mark. I keep this Capri tucked away most of the year, not as a museum piece but as a promise: when the sun hits just right and the roads call, it’s ready. The scent of old leather, the click of that classic ignition, the playful growl of a tuned engine—those details are the reason I restore and preserve. It shares garage space with a modern companion, my 2011 Mercedes E Convertible, for when comfort and open-top cruising are needed. But the Capri is where my heart lives: a living, breathing piece of history I love to drive and even more to share. Rent it and you’ll understand why I never let it go.
