1965 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 OTS

The Series 1 E-Type is one of those cars that needs no introduction. This is a 4.2 OTS — the open two-seater — sold new in the USA and still in its original left hand drive configuration. It's finished in Opalescent Silver Blue with blue leather, one of the classic colour combinations for the model. The car was restored some years ago and competed in concours events in the early 2000s; it remains in excellent condition and was featured in the Jaguar Drivers Club of Australia magazine in November 2021. The 4.2 XK engine with triple SU carburettors is the iconic specification for the car — torquey, characterful, and unmistakable in sound.
