1965 Mercedes-Benz 220 SE Cabriolet

1965 Mercedes Benz 220 SE (W111 series) Cabriolet. Spectacular colour scheme of navy blue with contrasting cream-beige leather interior. Lavish wood throughout interior, all in excellent condition. The car is original in every way having never been restored. This body shape was in production from 1961 until 1971. The 220 SE variant, as seen here, was made from 1961 until 1965. Only SE Cabriolets were ever built in right hand drive, out of a total of only 2729. Exceptionally expensive in its day, it's only real competitor was the Rolls Royce Cornice convertible which was released in the late 1960's. Fitted with automatic transmission and power steering. Winner of the President;s Choice Award at the 2024 Mercedes Benz Club of Queensland Concours d'Elegance. This vehicle is available for photography and filming.
