1914 Ford Model T

This listing is for a private class to learn about the Ford Model T and how to drive it. You will shift gears with your feet and accelerate with your hands! Made between 1908 and 1927, the Ford Model T has been called the car that “put America on wheels”, and indeed the world! They were not cheap, but unlike other early automobiles, they were affordable for many Americans at the time. This reliable, simple car gave many a mobility and freedom they had never seen before. We offer this as a group class a few times a year. But in this case, you can have a private lesson with the instructors! It is a great gift for your favorite car fan, or anyone who wants to try something new. Students of the Model T driving class will receive an introduction to the Model T and how it works. You will then get to use this new knowledge to go on a supervised drive of the Model T during the class – an experience that won’t be forgotten. The class will take place at the California Automobile Museum (2200 Front Street in Sacramento) and this price is good for two (2) people. Additional participants can be added for $50 each. Space is limited to 8 attendees total. The exact date and time of the private class will be finalized and arranged with the volunteer instructors. The class will last about 4 hours in length and includes Museum admission, an instruction manual, any materials, and lunch from a local sandwich shop. Students must be at least 18 years of age and provide a current driver’s license.
