1936 Auburn Boattail Speedster Replica

This is a factory built replica of a 1936 Auburn speedster. It was built in 1984 using an early 70s Buick GS as a doner. Because of it's remarkable accuracy to the authentic 1936 Auburn, it has been displayed in a museum, featured in TV shows and movies, and had a featue cover story on it in a national magazine before my ownership. I first became aware of the car because of it's magazine appearance in 1990. I was a subscriber and if I had spent the time dreaming about it the next decade working another job I could have afforded it years sooner.
