1957 Land Rover Series I SWB

This is Little Ben. I bought this one in a small town just outside of Calgary Canada and then drove it to Seattle in order to do the import process myself. After leaving it in open storage for a year, I flew back out with my fiancée and drove it down the west coast and then proceeded across country. We parked it in Moab after a stellar road trip together. A year later I went back out and drove it the rest of the way across to the east coast with a stop in Savannah and then up the east coast to my home in CT. This shouldn’t be considered a great highway cruiser but it can do it if needed with a top speed of 70 or so depending on your tail wind. This truck is at its best on the back roads and in town where people will inevitably wave and want to talk about it. Great for a laugh and little kids of all ages will want to instantly be your friend.
