1965 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Tribute Road and Track Car

Oh Boy! If you ever wanted to drive a vintage 1965 Mustang Shelby Fastback GT350 set up to be safe enough to race on a track, this is it. But, I have to warn you, 475 horsepower is a bit more than Carol Shelby had in his with this 351 408 custom built Stroker race motor embedded on headers and 2 1/2" exhaust. It has all the trimmings, including original style roller bearing front suspension from OpenTracker, Shelby 1" drop, 6 piston Wildwood disc brakes in the front on 16" x 8" Vintage Racing wheels and 10 x 2 1/2" Large GT drum brakes on racing springs in the rear with Vintage series Race brake pads from Porterfield. Corbeau racing seats, 5 point quick release harnesses under a full, padded racing cage and a 16 gallon fuel cell in the rear next to the relocated battery. I can go on and on but if you get in it, you won't believe a 1965 Mustang can handle like this, stop like this, and pull like this. It is race proven on Thundershill, Laguna Seca, Auto Speedway and of course, Willow Springs by myself. Unfortunately, this car won't be rentable to just anyone who wishes to take it on a track but you can take it for a weekend and have fun as it's fully street legal with a Hidden radio setup for amazing sound. I wanted to create a car that I could drive for fun on the road by the beach or on the track as I'm in love with the 60's cars, especially this one. It was my dream to build a car like this since I was in high school and we built it from a rolling chassis. Note: I will have to be very carefull who rents this car due to its power but with its race car power steering setup, Top Loader 4 sp and Flaming river adjustable steering wheel, it's extremely comfortable for such a beast to drive. I also have a 16' trailer custom designed with tire lockers in the floor and a winch that is very light (I tow it with my Landcruiser) and is available for an extra charge if you wish to take the car somewhere we agree on.
