1972 Triumph Bonneville T120R
1972 Triumph Bonneville T120R. Original, unrestored survivor. Not flawless, but clean and VERY presentable. Less than 10,000 original miles. Mechanically sound. Originally owned by my father (see uploaded pictures). My father lost his battle with cancer in early 1990 (I was in high school), so the Triumph was passed on to my uncle. In 2017 my uncle called to inform me that the Triumph would be passed along to me. Upon receiving the Triumph in clean and well-kept but non-running condition in 2017, full carburetor replacements (new Amal carbs from original tooling, but with modern internals) were installed. New gas tank valves and fuel line were install to go along with a proper internal de-rust cleaning of the gas tank. Finally, an oil change was done and new battery was installed to put the finishing touches on making it roadworthy once again. SAFETY NOTE, If rented and ridden by someone other than the owner: At time of manufacturing Triumph was still utilizing the British-style shifter/rear brake configurations...shifter on Right, brake pedal on Left. This is distinctly different than virtually all modern motorcycle manufacturers worldwide since the mid/late 1970's that have standardized to shifter on Left, brake pedal on Right.
