1982 Mercedes-Benz 300 TD Base

A true classic car that has been meticulously loved and cared for its entire life. With myself only being its third owner, this car has been carefully maintained both cosmetically and mechanically throughout its life. Despite driving almost 500,000 miles, the wagon most affectionately referred to as “Wendy”, is the most reliable vehicle I have personally ever driven, and is an absolute dream to drive and ride in. Retailing for around $35,000 brand new, Wendy has maintained almost all of its value as these wagon models have become increasingly rare and harder and harder to service as the original parts are designed to be serviced rather than replaced- a lost art in today’s modern world. In addition to all of the base functionality features of a Mercedes Wagon, Wendy is equipped with a dog net and privacy cover for the rear, a very rare upgrade that can add around $2,000-3,000 of value. Many often refer to this era of Mercedes as the “peak of luxury” for Mercedes Benz and Wendy certainly lives up to this claim. With fully functional fold down rear seats, along with some of the best climate control you can come by- nothing about this car lacks functionality or comfortability. This sharp, and eye catching wagon is the perfect family mobile, or piece in a collectors garage. With two high mileage badges on the front proudly demonstrating its continued functionality over the years, this car is the perfect addition to any set looking to add personality or memorability to a character or story line.
