1985 Citroen 2CV

Our lovely Citroën 2CV Charleston, who we call Sebastian, is a lovingly restored car which was originally sold in Belgium and was brought to the United States in 2013. I purchased the car in late 2020 in Charleston, SC where it had been since coming to the United States. You'll notice the "Charleston" badges which denote his special edition featuring the iconic colors and design which make it so photogenic! The Citroën 2CV is an icon of French design and style but was meant to be a functional and reliable car so it's actually quite perfect for Savannah's historic streets! Designed in the late 1930s, the 2CV was built through 1990 and sold nearly 4 million during that time but never a single one sold new in the US. The 2CV has a full roll back top giving the feel of an open air convertible but is also quite weather tight when the top is latched. There is no air conditioning but plenty of ventilation and the heat has no problems keeping up with the mild Savannah winters.
