The car is expertly maintained and cared for. It's completely stock with original German interior, top, and paint. (Radio and speakers have been upgraded to a CD player with voice controls, so that is the only thing not stock, full disclosure.) We want you to enjoy the air-cooled Porsche craze that everyone is talking about. This car always opens conversations about these truly unique cars. Usually people ask about the year, how fast it goes, has it been restored, and can I go for a ride. The convertible top is manual and easy to put down with just one person. I'm happy to show you how to properly raise and lower the top, but most just leave it down. The weather here in southern California is great all year around for a convertible. The heater and air conditioning both work as expected for an 80's car. Don't expect the air conditioning to work like a modern Honda, but it does work as good or better than new. R134 compressor upgrade done. It is a 5 speed manual, so please don't rent this car if you have never driven a stick shift before. This is not the car to learn how to drive a manual.
