1993 Lotus Esprit
Beautiful Esprit Turbo SE in "James Bond White" over tan leather. The original "super car", this Esprit is very fast and tight. One of only 62 made, its intercooled turbocharged engined is chipped to develop 300 hp, traveling 0-60 in 4.4 seconds with a top end near 170 mph. This example is in excellent, original condition, with a beautiful Connolly leather interior and lift-out roof panel. The surprisingly large trunk will hold plenty of luggage for a weekend B&B tour. Only deviations from stock are the Momo wheel and the 2DIN head unit w/ back-up camera, CD & iPod input.

It was a great experience meeting Pete, driving his Esprit and seeing his other beautiful cars. He keeps his cars in great shape and driving the Esprit on the twisty roads and the beautiful scenery was a lot of fun. We also talked a lot and due to his knowledge I learned a lot about the car. Pete is a great guy and I hope to stay in touch with him.

What a day. I’ve been lusting over Esprits since I was 12 so this was literally a childhood dream come true. For a 25 year old vehicle Pete’s car was in terrific shape and easily handled the nearly 100F weather. We talked for quite a while before and after the rental and I learned quite a bit I hadn’t known about the Esprit. Pete was a true gentleman and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent again. Which I might!
