An old Vespa sparked the idea
The idea behind BookAclassic came from a yellow Vespa. We prefer four wheels now but back in the early nineties, CEO Claus Stig Christensen hit on the idea of renting out his scooter to local clothing shops in winter – saving him the trouble of finding somewhere to park it. The clothing shops got a cool display and Claus received a fee for the use of his yellow Vespa. Fast forward twenty years and today BookAclassic has put this concept to great use, with vehicle owners and event organizers located in several countries with yet more in the pipeline.
