The iconic 1919 24HP Sunbeam

A vintage British car which featured in the classic 1942 film Casablanca has gone up for sale for £128,000.

The iconic 1919 24HP Sunbeam is seen carrying police through the crowded streets of the Moroccan city in the early moments of the Second World War romantic drama.

The 4½ litre motor, which is nearly 100 years old, was made at Sunbeam's British base and was one of the first off the production line after the First World War.

The rare vehicle - formerly owned by the Warner Bros movie company was subject to a £160,000 four-year restoration three years ago.
