How and when do hosts get paid?

Your payout is released about 48 hours after the trip is completed, that is, after the car is returned and the trip closes out. The funds then settle to your account based on your payout method, which usually takes a few more business days.

Your earnings are paid into a connected payout account with our trusted payments provider. You set it up once from your Payouts page: enter your details and bank account, and confirm your identity where asked. After that, every payout is deposited automatically, with nothing to do per trip. If you haven't finished setting up your account yet, your Payouts page will prompt you to complete it before your first payout can be released.

In Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, Switzerland, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, India and Poland, BookAclassic runs on a partial-payment model: the renter pays you directly for the rental itself, while BookAclassic collects only its own fees at checkout. If you host in one of these countries, your rental earnings come straight from the renter rather than as a BookAclassic payout. The timing and payout methods above apply only to anything BookAclassic pays out to you, not to that rental income.

BookAclassic keeps a 20% host booking fee. The renter separately pays a 15% service fee. You receive your rate less the booking fee (and less anything deducted for an unresolved issue). Track everything in the Earnings tab of your dashboard.
