What insurance is included?

BookAclassic protection packages (the platform-provided insurance you add at checkout) are only available in the United States. Outside the US, no such protection package is offered and no protection fee is charged.

US self-drive

You choose a protection package at checkout, typically Good, Better or Best, and the fee is added to your total. The package sets the deductible and cover limits; higher tiers reduce what you'd owe if something happens. Protection packages are offered in the US only.

Chauffeured and event

For chauffeured and event rentals, the host or a professional driver is the only person who drives the car. Ask the host about the arrangements for your booking before you travel.

Outside the US

There is no BookAclassic protection package outside the US, and no protection fee is charged. Hosts outside the US choose which rental types they offer (self-drive, chauffeured or event), so confirm the insurance arrangements directly with the host before you book.
