Connecting a payout account as a host, clearing any outstanding requirements, and why a payout might be delayed.

Before you can receive money for your bookings, you'll set up how you get paid. BookAclassic uses a trusted payments provider to send your earnings securely to your bank.

Hosts are paid through a connected payout account: you set it up once, and after that your earnings are deposited automatically after each trip. There's nothing to do per payout. In Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, Switzerland, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, India and Poland the renter pays you directly for the rental, so there's no payout account to set up for that rental income (see below).

Getting set up

  1. From your host dashboard, start payout setup and follow the guided steps.
  2. Enter your details and bank account, and confirm your identity where the provider asks for it.
  3. That's it. Once your account checks out, future payouts are deposited automatically.

If something is marked as needed

Sometimes the provider needs an extra detail before it can release money, for example a confirmation of your identity or bank details. Your dashboard will flag what's outstanding; supplying it clears the hold and lets payouts resume.

Why a payout might be delayed

  • You haven't finished setting up your connected payout account yet. Open your Payouts page to complete it.
  • Your connected payout account still has outstanding requirements to complete.
  • The trip hasn't reached the point where earnings are released yet.
  • A booking is under review, or a deposit or claim is still being resolved.

Countries where the renter pays you directly

In Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, Switzerland, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, India and Poland, BookAclassic uses a partial-payment model: the renter pays you directly for the rental itself and BookAclassic collects only its own fees. If you host in one of these countries, you don't need to connect a payout account to receive the rental; it comes straight from the renter. For how earnings are released overall, see How and when do hosts get paid?.

What changed: all hosts paid by BookAclassic now receive their earnings through an automatic connected payout account (in some countries the renter pays you directly instead). If you were previously paid through secure payout links sent per trip, that option has been retired. Set up your connected payout account once and every future payout arrives automatically. For when earnings are released, see How and when do hosts get paid?.
