Why was my message blocked?

Messages between renters and hosts on BookAclassic pass through an automatic safety check before they send. This applies to both sides of every conversation. If a message doesn't go through, it's usually because it looked like one of the things below, not because anyone reviewed you personally.

A message may be held when it looks like it is trying to:

• Share direct contact details such as a phone number, email address or social handle.
• Include a link to an outside website.
• Arrange payment outside the platform.
• Move the booking itself off the platform.
• Match a known scam pattern, such as a request for an upfront wire or gift cards.
• Use abusive or threatening language.

Why these checks exist

Keeping conversations, bookings and payments on BookAclassic is what lets us protect both renters and hosts. If something goes wrong, our team can see what was agreed and step in, payments stay covered through checkout, and any deposit is handled fairly. Once a deal moves off the platform, none of that protection follows you.

How to get your message through

• Share photos, the pickup plan and trip details directly in the chat instead of linking out.
• Keep every payment inside checkout rather than offering or asking to pay another way.
• Arrange and confirm the booking through the site, not by phone or email.
• If your message was genuine, rephrase it without the contact details, link or payment request and send again.

Occasionally the safety check is briefly unavailable and a message is held as a precaution. If you're sure your message is fine, wait a moment and try again, or contact support@bookaclassic.com.
