Renter eligibility requirements

These eligibility requirements apply to self-drive rentals (chauffeured and event hire don't require you to drive). While we reserve the right to decline membership for any reason, the minimum requirements to drive are:

• You must have held your current driver's licence for at least 2 consecutive years.
• You must be at least 25 years of age.
• Your driving history may not show a major violation in the last 5 years (DUI, hit-and-run, manslaughter, reckless driving, etc.).
• Your driving history may not show more than two minor violations in the last 3 years, or more than one in the last year.
• You cannot have any criminal convictions on your record in the last 10 years.
• You must possess a mobile phone in your own name that we can verify by text.

Acceptance into the BookAclassic programme is at our sole discretion. You're required to notify us of any change to your eligibility status.
