What to check when the one-time sign-in code or password-reset email doesn't arrive.
When you ask for a one-time sign-in code or a password reset, the email is sent straight away and normally arrives within a minute or two. If it hasn't appeared, work through these checks:
- Check spam, junk and promotions folders. Automated sign-in emails are sometimes filtered; search your mailbox for BookAclassic.
- Confirm the email address. The code only goes to the exact address you typed, and only if an account exists for it. A typo, or using a different address from the one on your account, means nothing arrives.
- Use the most recent code. Each new request replaces the previous code, and codes expire after a short time. Always enter the code from the newest email.
- Wait before re-requesting. To prevent abuse, repeated requests in a short window are paused briefly. If the screen shows a wait time, let it pass and then request one new code.
- Try another sign-in method. If you set a password or used Apple, Google or Facebook to sign up, you can sign in that way instead.
Never forward or share a sign-in code with anyone, including someone claiming to be BookAclassic support. Our team will never ask you for a code. And don't reply to the code email itself; replies to automated emails aren't a monitored inbox.
