How to tell which mode a listing uses, and what happens after you tap Book.
Listings marked Instant Book can be reserved without waiting for owner approval. Payment is taken immediately and the booking is confirmed in your Trips tab.
Request to Book listings require the owner to approve within 48 hours. Your card is held but not charged until the request is accepted; if it's declined or expires, the hold is released and you can request another car.
What changed: the request approval window is now 48 hours (previously 24).
